Five Decades of Partnership. Four Generations. One Shared Commitment to Building Better.
Few business relationships stand the test of time.
Fewer still span three generations of a family business and more than 50 years of shared success.
Recently, K W Bell Group was proud to take delivery of 21 brand new JCB 14 and 20 tonne excavators at JCB Headquarters – a significant investment in our future and another milestone in a partnership that stretches back more than five decades.
For most people, a handover of new machinery is about equipment.
For us, it was about much more than that.
It was a moment that brought together three generations of the Bell family, standing alongside a fleet that represents the continued growth of our business, our confidence in the future and our commitment to delivering for our customers.
The investment will support projects across Bell Contracting and the wider Group, ensuring our teams have access to modern, efficient and reliable equipment as we continue to expand our operations.
But what made the day particularly special was the recognition of the relationship behind the machines.
Peter Bell was presented with a signed photograph from Anthony Bamford, acknowledging the long-standing partnership and shared values between our businesses. It was a proud moment and a reminder that strong relationships remain at the heart of successful businesses.
The team also had the opportunity to spend time with George Bamford, gaining further insight into a business that continues to lead the industry through innovation, investment and a relentless commitment to quality.
As a fourth-generation family business ourselves, we recognise many similarities between our organisations.
A focus on long-term thinking.
Investment in people.
Commitment to quality.
And a belief that success is built over generations, not quarters.
At K W Bell Group, investment has always been about more than plant and equipment. It is about creating capability, supporting our workforce, improving productivity and ensuring we continue to deliver the standards our customers expect.
The arrival of these 21 new excavators is another step in that journey.
A significant investment.
A proud family moment.
And a partnership that continues to go from strength to strength after more than 50 years.
